Homebase has scooped a silver gilt medal at this year’s Chelsea Flower Show. The garden was inspired by designer Tom Hoblyn’s childhood visits to Cornwall and the medal is a fitting way to recognise Tom’s hard work and the fantastic efforts of Homebase colleagues who helped create the winning entry. Amy Whidburn, Trading Director, said: “We are delighted that this wonderful garden and our hardworking team have been rewarded with a medal and we are very excited about our new in-store Chelsea Collection - a special plant collection inspired by the garden, which comes with an easy to follow planting plan so that people can have a go at recreating the look.”
Homebase has become the first kitchen retailer to receive FIRA Gold certification for both its fitted kitchens and installation services. Johnny Westbrooke, chief operating officer at FIRA, ( Furniture Industry Research Association) said, ' Homebase customers can be assured that fitted kitchens purchased from or installed by Homebase will be of the highest standard
Homebase triumphed at the Institute of Credit Management (ICM) awards, scooping up the award for performance improvement as well as a nomination for the Innovative Solution category. The ICM awards are widely regarded as the industry’s ‘Oscars’, being the most rigorously judged awards in credit management.
Homebase is very proud to announce that they have been awarded The Customer Focus Award at the inaugural UK Customer Satisfaction Awards.
